The China General Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the "China General Machinery Association") held the Second Standardization Management Committee Establishment Conference and General Machinery Industry Group Standard Approval Meeting of the China General Machinery Association from April 11 to 13, 2023 in Changsha.
Huang Li, Chairman of China Communications Association, Sui Yongbin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Honorary Chairman, and Director of the Standardization Management Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Sun Fang, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Communications Association, and Deputy Director of the Standardization Management Committee, delivered a work report on the first session of the Standardization Management Committee. A total of 67 members of the Standardization Management Committee of China Communications Association and representatives of some standard drafting units attended the meeting. At the new session, Huang Li, the president of the China Communications Association, announced the organizational plan for the second Standardization Management Committee of the Association and issued appointment letters to the members. Huang Li emphasized that the development of group standards is of great significance and is a major event that benefits the development of the industry. It is necessary to play the role of standards first and norms leading. The China Communications Association has always regarded the construction of group standards as an important lever for member services. The preparation of standards will further promote technological progress and innovative development in the general machinery industry, enhance the overall level of the industry, and promote high-quality development of the industry.
The meeting heard a report on the work of the Standardization Committee by Sun Fang, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Communications Association and Deputy Director of the First Standardization Management Committee. The report provided a comprehensive review of the work of the First Standardization Management Committee of the China Communications Association and made suggestions for the work of the Second Standardization Management Committee.
The meeting also reviewed and approved 17 draft standards for review, believing that these 17 draft standards comply with the writing regulations of GB/T 1.1-2020, the technical terms of the standards are clearly expressed, and the content of the standard preparation instructions and the summary processing method for soliciting opinions comply with the relevant provisions of the China Communications Association Standard Management Measures; The submitted materials are complete and standardized; The standard belongs to the advanced level in China.
At the end of the meeting, Sui Yongbin, Honorary President of the China Communications Association and Director of the Standardization Management Committee, pointed out that the general machinery industry should attach importance to the project level and design of the standard system, strengthen the formulation of testing and design standards, carry out training, strengthen the construction of standard talent teams, promote the internationalization of standards, and promote the development of industry standards
